Fallout Games pt.1

Every gamer with any kind of good taste in games played some Fallout game, if not old ones then most certainly they played new Fallouts from Bethesda. This is a game series that takes humanity to a post apocalyptic setting where world gets destroyed by nuclear war and what is left is desolate wasteland with mutated animals and people, crazy human factions, advanced or primitive, they are all trying to survive in that inhospitable leftover of a world. When player starts playing the game he always gets some basic quest to save his village or find his parents but somehow ends up saving or destroying that part of the wasteland. Fallout games are never boring, you will always find something to do and if you haven't played any Fallout game what are waiting for? Fallout

Your character is a Vault Dweller that gets a mission from his vault to explore the wasteland and try to find "water chip" to save his home. You must find the chip in given number of days our your friends from Vault 13 will die. In your exploration you will find out that the great evil is lurking in the wasteland in shape of Master that you will try to stop while finding the chip. Death animations were something special in this game and every sequel had them, one of the main selling points for Fallout games is Bloody Mess perk plus great post apocalyptic setting. Fallout 2

Hit games at the time didn't need 5 years of developing to be great, this sequel came out only 1 year after first Fallout and was bigger in every aspect. This time your character Chosen One is trying to help his village Arroyo to find GECK or garden of eden creation kit, survival tool from vaults. This time world is bigger filled with more companions and more of everything. One of my top 10 games of all times. 

Fallout Tactics: Brotherhood of Steel

This is one of the trips outside normal RPG elements to tactical based squad combat, or Jagged Alliance meets Fallout kind of game. Explore the wasteland and improve your squad and complete various missions. Combat animations were very nicely done and Bloody Mess perk was good as ever. You are given the options to hire troops for your own Brotherhood of Steel squad, and fun thing is that you can hire ghouls and super mutants also. Tactical combat in power armors, I'll take it.
