Dragon Age Games
Dragon Age is RPG series made by Bioware gaming company set in a brand new fantasy world of Thedas. It is a more modern RPG game series with every game pushing the limits of the genre. Some games in this series are better than the rest but as whole I'd say every game is a must play for any fan of RPG genre. Every game is played in different provinces of Thedas and games are pretty lengthy with more than 30h of gameplay required to complete every game, with side quests there is a lot of fun to be had with this great series.
Dragon Age: Origins
First game was released in 2009. and was a big hit. Game introduced us with a brand new fantasy world from good old Bioware, company that is specialized in RPG's. Story is about Grey Wardens who are the worlds only hope against the Blight, nasty ork like creatures in untold numbers that will burn the surface world. Game world is big with it's rich history and it is easy to get immersed in this great new fantasy. Players can choose between many classes and gather big company of allies with their own stories to tell. It is an epic fantasy adventure worth playing.
Dragon Age 2
Second Dragon Age game was more of an cinematic experience with battles that are more action based. We take role of Hawke, champion of the city of Kirkwall. Even though I liked the game it did received some media flak for recycling maps, you would find yourself in different areas of the world and would play on the same maps, that kind of killed the immersion. If developers had more time to do it right this game would be epic, it is still decent for any fan of fantasy RPG's.
Dragon Age Inquisition
Last game in the series was released in 2014. and still is one of the best games one can play. Graphics in this game is nothing short than amazing and all those epic battles against dragons and giants will sure get your heart pumping. It's a game with so many options for players to do, go on battlemap, send you agents around that will bring you rewards or go yourself explore far part of the world and close rifts. Get your own ancient castle that you can upgrade and lead the Inquisition against very nasty creatures from the Fade and protect the world from annihilation.
I love Dragon Age...the first one is absolutely incredible and was ahead of it's time. Inquisition was good but I wanted more! The idea of the dragons spread all around was amazing though, great pictures and post!
I played a lot of Dragon Age origins, but I ended up getting a bit bored with it, unlike The elder scrolls or witcher games. From your description, it sounds like I might enjoy giving the third dragon age game a try. Thanks for posting!
You can't go wrong with Inquisition, game is even more lengthy than the first game so it takes time to complete it. It all pays of in the end because game is very satisfying to beat and very immersive and beautiful all that time you are playing it.
I've only played the first game, but it is good. have you covered the Witcher series yet?
You can skip Dragon Age 2 and go directly to Inquisition. Yeah, few days ago I wrote about Witcher games. I played every game in both series.
