Bad Superhero Games
Long time ago @schattenjaeger suggested to me to write something about bad superhero games, I've been collecting data and here are some of the worst superhero games ever released. These are so bad that just writing about them and thinking about those devs that tried to make money of those crappy pieces of software makes me feel dirty too. More recently we had some great super hero games like Batman Arkham series, Deadpool, X-Men Origins: Wolverine, several Spiderman games. However, there are 10 bad superhero games for every good one, and here are some the worst. This is just a scratch on the surface, I can make 10 part series out of this topic.
Superman 64
This is not just one of the worst super hero games, it also one of the worst games of all time. Think of it as a flight simulator with superman acting as a plane that needs to fly through series of rings. Clipping was non existent and graphics were absolutely horrendous. Game was rushed out few years early and the final product looked like something you want to gift to your worst enemy.
Thor: God of Thunder
Back in 2012 when Thor movies created huge success greedy devs and publishers created this rushed and unfinished game. Game animations were glitchy and controls were unresponsive, this game is a perfect example how not to make a game. Nothing else to say really.
Spawn: The Eternal
Spawn is one of the more interesting comic book character, this game made him uninteresting and bland. Game was made for original Playstation and it was one of the worst looking games of all times. Spawn moved like a piece of furniture in empty and boring environments and occasionally would engage in boring fist battles where game would turn from exploration to bad fighting game.
Aquaman: Battle for Atlantis
How to make a turd shine in the water, you can't, but you can crate one of the worst games of all time. Aquaman must be one of the most unnecessary comic book characters ever, but DC keeps on hyping him, who knows with latest Justice League movie they might even make him look cool. In this game however, Aquaman and his underwater adventures were only for the most clinically insane people.
For Superman graphics look solid hahahaha

I played Spawn but never beated the game on Playstation, and it was a bad game really bad !
We need a great Spawn game. He is such a cool character and needs a game that will do him justice.
thor and aquaman look good but as you said control and some other bugs , they made it stupidity . I think we only can count on the big companies like ubi soft or Rockstar games , they spend years on their games , and too they have enough money to pay to developers so they will work better than solo developers .
The only one I heard about is Superman... and heard it's actually really bad!!

Hahahah, maybe they are bad. However, I will always like these kinds of games buddy, @moon32walker! :)
I like superhero games too, but only when they are good and not a quick money grab without substance.
