Hitman Absolution actually has a great story, and could have been amazing. To me, the only really serious flaw is the checkpoint system, which kills off any motivation for exploring the levels. Save games would have been so much better. Unfortunately, this flaw is a deal breaker for me. A significant number of levels are very linear. This is serious, and annoying, but not a showstopper.
