Gremlins 2 was always one of my 'exception that proves the rule' cases when discussing the suckage of licensed titles. It reasonably captures the look and feel of the film, it's challenging without being impossible, and has nice graphics and sound. Best of all, it's just plain fun. I agree with every point you made. :)
