Rainbow 6 Seige.. Game Review

I got this game when it released back in Dec 1st 2015.
I love this game for it's tactical and very competitive scene!

I did however only played this til the new 1st operators came out...
So I didnt play this up until the end of Season 2.

The game consists of finding the bombs... can be planting or just by contesting the bomb site.
The other game type is Hostage which personally I dont like to play it.
The great thing about the game is that you can set it to not have that game type!
Terrorist hunt is extremely fun when youre playing with friends or randoms!
It's hostage and elimination. So match ends if all the terrorist are killed. and the other is if you extract the hostage you win but it gets tricky because enemies spawn in the outside also.
Terrorist hunt has different difficulties and it's very challenging!

New characters and maps are being added every year!
With every season new operators and maps are added free of charge!
Well sorta... If you purchase the season pass you get access to the new characters a week before its open to the general players!
The maps are free and anyone can play on them.
You can buy operators with in game currency called "Renown" which you get from winning matches (you earn some even if you lose but not as much if you win)
You can also get renown if you complete weekly challenges!
You can spend actual money for r6 credits which you can unlock characters that way instead of grinding for hours on multiplayer.
Personally I like to grind out and earn my characters that way. :) Why pay when you can earn the characters for free!

Season 3 just started and we already got our 1st new operators.. Finka and Lion.
But in a few weeks we will have our 1st Italian Operators... Maestro and Alibi.

The game is mainly online only but Terrorist hunt and the tutorial missions can be played offline but the games focus is online multiplayer.
The maps are randomly assigned and so is the gametype but with not many options you will probably play bomb,TDM or Hostage back to back.
Seige is constantly changing with maps and new ways the game can be played with the operators being added and their special abilities!
You have people that can breach reinforced walls,Characters that can show enemies locations and even have their phones dialed to enable their location via the buzzing.

The game is great and very challenging but the community behind it can be a little toxic... Thats the only downside for me on this game.
I've been kicked so many times before even reaching the character selection screen because some people dont like my PSN name.
Been team killed alot and some people just throw the game even when were winning.. some leave and some just kill themselves or other players.
I wish they did something to prevent team killing but what can you do.

Well there is one thing but nothing really gets done.. you can report them for toxic behavior and thats about it.
Or back out the game and find a new one.

Overall this game has alot of replayability with the new Ops and Maps. Subtle upgrades and changes to Ops also to balance the game out.

Forgot to mention you can buy skins and outfits for the Ops and the guns! Which you can buy with R6 Credits or the ingame currency you gain from matches (renown)

Aside from all the toxic stuff the game is very fun to play when you have a full squad of friends and even solo!
The game has been out for a while so you can find it used cheap for around $30 or so.
There is alot to this game and me simply explaining it wont do it's justice :)
Go pick it up for X1,PS4 and PC!
