Tutorial on how to obtain Shield Weaver Armor in Horizon Zero Dawn
Today ill be posting a guide how to unlock the most powerful armor in Horizon Zero Dawn.
THE SHIELD WEAVER
(It will let Aloy soak up a huge amount of damage before consuming your life)
Post post apocalyptic world of horizon zero dawn is full of secrets but there is one above all that you dont wanna miss
heres how to begina secret quest that unlocks armor that makes you practically invinsible. Be warned however the keys to unlocking it appear during the main story quest so beware of spoilers
The quest is call ancient armory and it unlocks as soon as you unlock any power cell that can be collected throught out the game. i originally found them out of order but ill be doing the chronological sequence throughout the campaign.
First Power Cell
The first Power Cell will be found while exploring the open world after completing the prologue as a young Aloy. Return to the ruins where you found your focus device and trace your paths through the stairs, pry open the door ahead of you and move you the office and head upstairs,at the top of the stairs you find a doorway block by rock formations on the right, use your spears to smash to the rock and collect the Power Cell in the desk.
Second Power Cell
The next power cell can be found at the ALL MOTHER TEMPLE at the MOTHERS WATCH during the quest "Womb of the mountain" right after you complete the proving. after finding your equipment and speaking to Matriarch Teersa, cross the hall and you'll see and unlocked door before following her to the stronghold, next to the door is a open ventilation shaft move through it to enter the room beyond the door and you'll see the Power Cell
These two Power Cells can be use to unlock the first power door to the ancient armory. complete the curcuit and solve the puzzle to unlock the first door.
Clue: the number and the arrows of the day is corresponding to each wheel (right to left then read NOON, 3oclock , 6 oclock, 9 oclock and midnight)
Once you open this lock and enter the armory there are three more Power Cells to find.
Third Power Cell
The third power cells can be found in necrozan, initially during the main quest of the same name. once you climb the FAS building all the way to Faro's office you wanna scale the tower to the east of the room upto the very top of the sky scraper pick up the POWER CELL and repel back down.
Fourth Power Cell
The next cell can be found starting the mission the grave hoard after descending down to the runes you need to open an electric lock by resetting three mechanisms to continue the mission once the lock has been opened youll find the Power Cell lying to the ground on the other side of the door.
Final Power Cell
The final Power Cell can be found at the ruins in the mission the mountain that fell. after speaking to Silas in his workshop climb down the elevator shaft and repel down into the ruins, before following your objective mark on the right turn left and walk north, climb up the rubble ahead of you and head to the blue lit cave in front of you. on the shelf on the back room you'll find the final Power Cell
Return to the lab and use the Power Cells to complete the curcuit and the unlock clamps by reseting the dial.
Clue: the cipher of these are all angles of rotation so the dial should be turned ( RIGHT LEFT TOP RIGHT LEFT)
This will allow Aloy to collect the armor (SHIELD WEAVER)
