I usually stay away from yard sales because with the knowledge of the Internet, sellers tend to sell their games at eBay prices or sometimes even higher.

However as for mom and pop stores, you can get very good prices if they're located far from major cities. Some of them even have online stores and offer free shipping if you buy in bulk. That's why they tend to be my preferred way of shopping for retro games.
