Game Review 🎮 - Diablo III: Reaper of Souls! [ENG]
Hello Fellow Steemians!
How are you today?, I hope Fine :)
Today I'm @khalilmuza will review a game Diablo III. Has anyone played this Game? if not, please refer to my review, Happy reading :)
Diablo III
20 years ago, Worldstone - who became a protective bast between the human world and hell destroyed in an attempt to defeat the devil - Diablo. With the barrier that no longer exists, it certainly becomes plausible to anticipate attacks on a larger scale than these Hell forces. But what happened? Surprisingly, the world is in a very safe state. Deckard Cain, as one of the people who knew the truth behind this great war trying to find the answer to this "truce" mystery. Together with Leah - his adopted son, Cain discovers a surprising truth.
Alongside this quest for truth, a bright light falls from the sky and strikes a comfortable human world. A man with no memory falls with him, bears a holy mission that will determine human existence in the future. Who is this one figure? While on the other hand, Leah began to slowly find answers to the various mysteries that blanketed his life so far. It grows and develops into the NPC which is the main focus of the story and closely related to the existence of Diablo during this time. What really happened? Why do demons prefer "silence" when Worldstone is destroyed? What is Leah's role in all this mess? You should certainly play this game to get answers to all these questions.
Combining "Single-Player" and "Massively Multiplayer Online" in one word is, of course, an unresolved paradox. Both take two-way gameplay mechanisms that are opposite to each other and offer a different game sensation. Single Player focuses on the experience of playing and enjoying yourself, while the MMO is a genre that is designed to be played together with others. Believe it or not, this sensation is what you will get when playing this Diablo III. On the one hand, you will engage in an adventure with a story like a single player adventure game, but on the other hand, you will feel the importance of the presence of other characters in the game and are treated to a variety of elements that are thick with an MMO game. Are you confused? We will describe it to give you a little picture.

Almost nothing has changed from the side of Diablo III's own gameplay. It still comes as an RPG game with an isometric camera point of view with a variety of enemies that often come in large quantities. You are still given the freedom to choose one of the 5 main jobs with their own unique properties and uniqueness. Like the two previous series, you will also pass the adventure in chapter pieces that will bring the problem and the core of each story. The point? No different from the previous two series, Diablo III is a single player game that can easily be enjoyed. You can also rent NPC characters to help you in adventure, farming and finding the best equipment for yourself. So, for what is Blizzard forcing you to continue to connect to the server Battle.net?
In addition to being a powerful tool to prevent piracy, Blizzard's decision to make Diablo III must be connected to Battle.net provides other consequences that result in a strong MMO impression. With four difficulty levels offered: Normal, Nightmare, Hell, and Inferno, Blizzard offers a level game that will "force" you to play with other Diablo III players around the world. You may be able to finish the game in normal difficulty, but another difficulty level? You really need to do the party with other gamers. On this side, the concept of MMO began to take a big role.
With the ease of the existing interface, you can join in a battle that is being run by other gamers with ease. Uniquely, doing the party with other gamers will also give progress to the story you are living in the party did the same quest and chapter. To prevent possible commotion, Blizzard has also designed every user in the party to get their own loot equipment and items. As a consequence, the enemy you encounter will grow stronger along with the number of users in the party (maximum 4 people). The more crowded your party, the more challenging the fighting is. Meeting with strangers in other parts of the world and fighting together certainly results in an MMO sensation, fortunately, it's easy to enjoy. Even to be concluded, he shifted into the main force of Diablo III itself.

Sensation MMO is not only presented from this party system. Various new elements presented by Blizzard in the third series also increasingly reinforce the impression. You are now also given the opportunity to do crafting to create more powerful equipment, either for you to use or as an item of trade with other users. In the end, you will be presented with Auction House feature, an auction medium that allows users to bid, buy, and sell their most valuable equipment, not only in Gold but also in real money. Unfortunately, when this review was written, Blizzard still has not included a real money system for this Auction House. The Auction House is certainly a major reason for the replayability of Diablo III. Unconsciously, you will continue to play this game even to the level of inferno difficulty even with one quest: find the best loot. A typical MMO game is not it?
Bringing a strong MMO sensation to a franchise like Diablo does not result in a negative consequence, especially for gamers who are enjoying the previous series. With a 6 to 12 hour game time on a normal difficulty level with a minimum number of dungeons, it is a lie if you declare yourself enjoying Diablo III because of the tangles of stories or adventures that he presents. With a level of difficulty that is directly proportional to the scarcity of items and equipment to be gained, most gamers will continue to play the main character for this one primary goal. The result, Diablo III into a series of games that "superficial" than the previous two series.
Blizzard itself is preparing to bring more promising features in the future to reinforce the impression of Diablo III today, one of which is PvP that will allow the characters to fight each other. Unfortunately, this feature itself is still not accessible when this review is written. But if PvP becomes a reality, is not this an extra reason for gamers to continue playing Diablo III just to find a better loot equipment? Blizzard has changed the identity of a Diablo franchise with this third series. It's no exaggeration if we categorize it as a game "Single Player - MMO", regardless of the paradox he might produce.
Normal Mode as Tutorial Mode!
Of all the difficulty levels offered in Diablo III, Normal Mode as the lowest difficulty level can be somewhat like a tutorial mode to familiarize you with the look and mechanism offered by Blizzard in this latest series. There is almost no challenge that you will feel in this game, all enemies can be defeated easily, as much as anything. Therefore, he became the best opportunity to explore the world and understand the plot presented in Diablo III this. The champion pack presented here is also not a challenge to be feared, even the last boss - Diablo himself.
The real challenge begins when you complete Normal Mode. Nightmare, Hell, and Inferno Mode is the true essence of Diablo III. Enemies grow significantly stronger, forcing you to consider the option to party with other players. You will find champion packs that are far more brutal and difficult when you have tested these three difficulty levels. Great damage, a tough HP, and the speed of attack and special strength that is often used will surely make you to the knee, especially with the character range like Demon Hunter that we use. Therefore, it is highly recommended for you to play Normal Mode with single player style and enjoy the existing plot. Why? Because the focus of your adventure will automatically change when it is exploring a higher difficulty level.

Conclusion
So what can be concluded from Diablo III? As a gamer who so enjoy both the previous series and patiently waiting for the presence of this third series, there is a dilemma that accompanies the experience of playing this Diablo III. On the one hand, there is a sense of relief and satisfaction because it can finally play this game directly. Changes in the gameplay mechanism that carried Blizzard was quite absurd at the beginning of the game but became much more enjoyed over the course of the game. All of these experiences come into play once they start on the high difficulty level demanding you to party with other gamers around the world. Working together, interacting, and varying features typical of MMO makes this game replayability so high.
On the other hand, there is such a deep disappointment at how "superficially" a Diablo franchise appears in this third series. The first question that came to me personally, "Game like this need more than 10 years to be developed? What exactly has Blizzard done for 10 years? ". There is hardly any privilege that represents a long development process. Impressive graphics quality by today's standards, MMO features that start moving into something mainstream, cliché plot, more loot-focused gameplay changes, and gaming time that can be completed in no time. What have they been doing for 10 years apart from developing an Auction House and PvP system that has not even gone? It must be a mystery.
Is it reasonable or is not Diablo III to be played? I personally recommend it. Behind all the shortcomings and superficiality that he had compared to the previous two series, Diablo III is a game that remains fun to play and addictive. Fast fighting flows with a focus on strategic skill use will keep your adrenaline constantly flowing, especially when stepping on a higher level of difficulty. In addition, he still contains a myriad of potential and still possible to be perfected by Blizzard in the future.
