Rocket League just announced their Autumn Update and it has a bunch of cool new stuff 

Standardized Arenas 

                  If you play Rocket League you should know how annoying it is to get in a game with a weird not standard map like Wasteland and Starbase. Well now you don't have to worry Wasteland and Starbase are becoming normal layout maps just like Neo Tokyo did not too long ago. This would be great because it sucks getting Starbase or Wasteland in a competitive match.

New Map 

              The new seasonal map for Autumn is called farmstead and it looks really cool. It is a arena on a farm surrounded by wheat fields and barns. They made the ground look like soil and the farm theme looks great for this new map that has a normal layout. 

New Crate

            Like other updates there will be new crates with new items and this one has some good items. This crate is called the Accelerator Crate and it will have new wheels and goal explosions. One of the new goal explosions that is really cool is popcorn so when the ball goes in the goal popcorn and kernels shoot out its really cool I need it. There will also be a new car only available in this crate it is called a JÄGER 619 RS and it looks nice. 

Season Events and Decryptors 

              Sometime after this update drops Rocket League will give us some limited time events with limited time crates and items. With events will come a new thing called Decryptors which can open any crate ever and are dropped after games. So essentially they are free keys that can get dropped after you finish a match

Other Cool new features 

              There are a ton more things this update will add so there will be 90 more free items available as after game drops and there are now player banners which are similar to those of Call of Duty and they look like another fun way to customize your name. Season 5 is ending and will be awarding special player banners off of your ranks in competitive modes. One of the best parts of this update is now when you are in the goal you can see through the goal posts. This is a needed mechanic that should have been though of a long time ago but I am glad we have it now.
