This Anniversary update will come out on July 5 which is the 2 year birthday of rocket league. This update adds a lot of new features and achievements to the game so here is everything that this update will add to the already amazing game of Rocket league. 

New Free Map 

                 The map that will be released with this update is called Champions Field. This new map has the same basic layout as the rest of the Rocket League maps. But the amazing stands, crowds and giant trophy will make this a cool and fun new map to regularly play on.

New Season 

                           July 5 will be the start of season 5 of competitive play for Rocket League. This is good news because it means that the seasons are shorter than previous. There will also be new season rewards and a new crate called an Overdrive Crate. This crate will include some of the new cars that will be talked about in the next section. 

New Cars 

                       The Animus GP and the Centio V17 are the two new cars that will be available once the update is released. The Animus has a F1 car look  going for it and I do not know what the Centio is based off of, all I know is I want it. These cars will only be available from the Overdrive Crates which will randomly be dropped to players. 

Rocket League Radio

                        Its not really a radio but now there are going to be 18 more songs added to the already large soundtrack that RL has. These new 18 songs were written for Rocket League by the EDM label Monster Cat. I am sure there will be some new sweet tunes because Rocket League is full of them.

New Customization 

                              This is really what I am excited for in this update, you be able to customize 3 new things from now on. You will be able to customize trails when you hit supersonic speeds, the goal explosions, and engine sounds. The trails and goal explosions will work similar to how other customizable items in Rocket League work. I am not sure how the engine sounds will work. Do we get dropped different engine sounds or do we mix them ourselves? Anyway it will be totally awesome and I am really excited for all of these new cool things.

                   I know there are not many details on some of the new features but I will update this post as we learn more information. I hope you enjoyed and I hoped you are as excited as I am to enjoy Rocket League with these new features.
