Gen Con 50 Indianapolis 2017 - The Best Four Days in Gaming: Pre-Con Prep and Pep

Gen Con is a tabletop gaming convention currently held in Indianapolis, Indiana during the month of August. This will be the 50th year the convention will have been held since its formal creation in the years after Gary Gygax (the guy who created Dungeons and Dragons for those who are unfamiliar) started having war gaming get-togethers at his home on Lake Geneva. This year it runs from August 17 through 20 and is completely sold out.

This will be the second year in a row that I will be attending as part of the Catalyst Demo Team, a voluntary group of individuals that run table top games from Catalyst Game Labs, LLC. The two largest products that we demo are the war game Battletech and the tabletop role playing game Shadowrun. I GM, or Game Master, Shadowrun for groups of players throughout the convention. This year, as it was in the prior, I am responsible for GMing or otherwise running 32 hours during the 4 days.

Since I have recently began investing in various cryptocurrencies, and registered on this site, this feels like a proper introduction to my content production.
