I guess closest to next gen is Old Republic, MMORPG released few years ago that is free to play. I hope we will see KotOR 3 one day also.
I never could get into MMORPGS. Or perhaps more accurately, it seemed too dangerous to my well-being to get into them.
Old Republic is a nice entry into MMORPG scene. If you love SW it really is a no brainer to try and install the game and check it out. I've played it for many months and still turned out fine :)
