The market of retrogaming follows a rather paradoxical parallel since it is based on the monetary value of money.

We are living, at the moment, an inexorable and inevitable devaluation of the dollar and the euro, close to the financial catastrophe (soon to come, we already have a foot in the abyss ...) which constantly inflates the price of all necessary goods That of value and by the same, the sale of old games to the very limited copies that take to the side at the same time as paper money declines. This market, which follows the rule of supply and demand, is pursuing an economic reality that has been observed for years, spreading in all collections of rare or artistic objects, with tarissable resources (stamps, coins, wines, paintings, etc...). This, in the same way as the precious metals (gold, silver, etc.) that see their prices rise.

Sadly, but more and more people think that the collection has become an economic refuge, see a high-interest investment for some. This is realized in view of the stock market behavior that is developing against games with numerical examples such as Taromaru (7500 ex), Rendering Ranger (5000 ex), Metal Slug AES etc., which undergo an increase in their ratings drastically . This generates a scarcity of securities available for sale since everyone stocks their precious, causing a soaring price in general, but also a constant need to resell by maximizing the added value when one feels that the we reach peaks.

In short, the more we plunge into the crisis, the more the so-called "rare" games obtain an indirect valorization, to such an extent that they become more and more inaccessible. The profusion of copies and other "cartmods" more real than nature are, now, the desolate example of the greed of people ill-intentioned to invest themselves in the environment, only for the coins. A return to the correct prices will not happen without a beneficial salvation of the current economic market ...

Do not we already complain that it is difficult to make ends meet properly? Cruel daily truth that impacts our wallets leaving an increasingly meager budget for leisure ... And the situation is likely to get worse, especially if the mass media are engrossed in the whole commercial-boursicotage to excess.

A metaphorical and capitalist vision of the current scene that exasperates me greatly. Players and collectors, can I still believe in the simple passion rather than the unscrupulous greed of a market that has no place to exist ...
