A look at my video games collection : Mr Splash! NES Pal version Omake Books / Only 50 copies !

Designed for the needs of a Japanese TV show, Mr Splash! Is a game dedicated to the Famicom, 13 years after the end of its official exploitation. Telling exactly 101 copies, this game has never been offered for sale but only available via a competition on the Japanese soil, from the DVD release of the said emission. In 2011, four years after the Japanese version Famicom, the game will be localized in French and converted to Pal version in NES cartridge format to be offered by the OmakeBooks site through various competitions, on the occasion of the release of the third volume of The story of Nintendo. Only 50 copies will be produced.

Being one of the lucky winners of the first session of the contest organized by Omake Books, I present here my copy!

Provided with a certificate of authenticity, the game sports a beautiful transparent plasticized dress, leaving roms protected by two small Stickers to the image of the characters in this title. Presented as a Pal version of its Japanese counterpart, I still decided to try it on a Japanese Famicom via an adapter that is found at low price on the net.

Verdict: it goes and even very well! The sound-test is also available via the integrated microphone on the second controller of the Familly computer, throwing vigorously a "Splash! "When the title screen appears.

In terms of gameplay, the game presents itself as a sport game in competitive mode or the goal is to send a ball into the cages of its opponent, while using the physics of water to achieve it.
A beautiful object that makes all the pride of my collection!
