League of Legends - Escaping ELO Hell

Hey guys @itachi here to present to you my first post on League of Legends. I go by the summoner name C9 Ramsey (https://na.op.gg/summoner/userName=c9ramsey) and  for season 7, riot decided to bone me and put me into bronze 2 despite being a 3-season Gold veteran.  Now anyone who plays this games knows that bronze and silver are considered the worst of the worst.. especially those who are put into bronze.  I've created this guide for the sole purpose of helping players old and new get out of this cancerous ELO as quick and as painless as possible. Let's jump into it!

Despite being a "team" game in bronze and silver ELO you want to choose and master a champion with high carry potential. What do I mean by that? For example for Season 7 I chose to master Annie.  She is cheap to purchase "450 IP" but she has tools in her kit that are very good for winning games.  They are as follows: Hard CC- every 4th spell that Annie uses will bring her stun up for the next on use spell. This is great for combo-ing with her other spells in quick succession.  My go to combo is - Q(Stun), R, W, auto attack, and Q again.. You can also add in an ignite to that combo but 95% of the time this combo will simply delete the enemy player.  Annie also summons her bear 'Tibbers' who can tank many turret shots for you as you and your team decide to seige turret and create pressure!  For being a support main in previous seasons, I'd say a 60% win rate as Annie over 130 games isn't too shabby! I personally recommend her to climb out of the ELO hell! 

For laners who want to carry at the top lane, Tryndamere is a great pick!  He is a champion that does not use mana, has great sustain, and an ultimate that is quite frankly.. broken.  Tryndamere is a champion that gives zero f's about his team mates and his sole objective is to keep pushing the top lane till enemies beg on their knees asking him to stop.  Your main objective is to create as much pressure as possible by split pushing and have enemies use their resources to stop you.  While they do that, you must alert your team mates to get other objectives while you pull in pressure.  Like I mentioned above, ELO hell is filled with terrible players and you must do your part to carry your team mates as hard as possible- split pushing is a great technique for that! 

However, knowing and playing the right champion well isn't enough to take you out of the toxic Dante's ring of hell.  You must also adapt yourself as a player to constantly look at your mini-map on the bottom right.  Master that and you can almost always anticipate a gank from the enemy jungler. Your attention to the minimap can also dictate when an opportune time to gank for you team mates.  

Other details that separate good players from the bad are pinging a lot when your enemy laner is missing for a while, pinging when you spot an enemy ward being placed, complimenting good plays, and having the calmness to not react to toxic players.  Toxic players are single-handedly the worst part of being in ELO hell as they seem to practically breed in that environment!  They will try their hardest to bring you down and keep you in ELO hell. Don't listen to them, simply mute them and continute with a calm and calculated demeanor.  Oh, and last but not least NEVER SURRENDER!  When it comes to ELO hell, many players are quick to get cocky and make a lot of mistakes after a great start.  Don't be toxic or you'll get banned like this goon below VVV!
