Fallout 1 for free -- retro
Fallout fans currently have the unique opportunity to secure the first part of the series free of charge via Steam. This is a 20th anniversary anniversary offer - which is only valid until today at around 9:00 pm German time.
Fallout 3, Fallout: New Vegas, or even the latest offshoot, Fallout 4, is the storyline of the series. The first part of the Fallout series has now 20 years on the hump. Reason enough for Bethesda, Fallout: A Post Nuclear Role Playing Game for free.
But the offer the publisher currently provides via Steam has a catch: it only applies for a short time. This means that this evening will end again around 9 pm Central European time. Steam is trickling on "Pacific Time" during the countdown, which lags us nine hours. Therefore the offer ends apparently already at 11:59 clock - converted corresponds however the 20:59 clock.

You can still play the title even after the count has expired, as long as you add it to your library in time. Then it belongs to the user to the end of his days - or at least as long as the steam servers of the Fallout previous nuclear disaster fall victim ...
The fallout 4, which was also no longer christened, was again in the news channels after Bethesda had introduced a shop for paid mods with the Creation Club. The Creation Club also ensures that Modder have some of their extensions and should not replace the previous offer of free Mods - but the Creation Club is not everywhere good. So it came to very negative user ratings for the game on Steam.
Ah, the old days....
