Hello fellow Steemians, it’s another beautiful day & week and I’m going to start something new this week by taking a short glimpse into the gaming world and I’m going to start by taking a look at what Football manger is all about and laying much emphasis on the latest version which was released on Nov 4th 2016.

Football manager is a football management simulation game developed by the Sports interactive and published by Sega; it’s a game which football lovers like aggressively due to it spontaneous copious pop-culture interface coupled with it mentally exhausting management simulation series of staying in the dugout and putting players on the field, tactically controlling those players, give team talk, face the press in the press conference, praising/chastening players after matches, renewing of contract, buying & selling of players, hiring of scouts, physio, fitness coach, head of youth development, director of football and the likes.

Players on football manager are free to take charge of any of the clubs in the world football either by taking up the world finest & biggest clubs i.e overseeing the careers of the football superstar or embracing the challenge of working their way up from the lower divisions and it must be noted that the full responsibility of the club is mainly on the manager [player] as long as he keep on delivering good result to the club board and the club budget must also be under control.

Let take a closer look at what the club budget and facilities is all about.

This is the money available to each player [manager] at his preferable selected club to run the sport related affair at the club smoothly i.e the available money to hire staffs [scout, coaches, head of youth development, physio, director of football, data analyst and sports scientist] to renew both players & staff contracts, to buy new players, to build new training centre and to build stadium [if agreed by the club board].

The club budget can also be increase through generated revenue which can be accumulated through player sales, player jersey sales, matchday stadium fees, club commercial activities and the likes.

Club facilities

This is the facilities available inside the club such as training ground, changing rooms, club medical centre, club eatery, gym and the likes and they are grade in football terms such as excellent facilities or superb facilities.

Tactics

This can simply be put as the way each manager want to setup his team and send them out to play and it varies according to each manager believe and pattern of playing [team shape, buildup, tempo and the likes] I’m going to discuss how those tactics work and how to set them up extensively in my next post.

This can be put as the level of experience of the available scouts in the club i.e how much those scouts know about the players from the different regions in the world such as west-Africa, north-America, north-Europe, Asia and the likes.

Team report

This is the report of the team current performance such as goals scored, goals against and how those goals are scored, which side those goals come from and their percentage.

Wonderkid

This is a player below the age of 21years that possess the attributes [potential attribute] that through training, playing regularly and if such player avoids injury can latter turn into world hitter i.e world class. Wonderkids also use to benefit from a decent foundation whereby they are train at a certain position from their early age.

Getting Wonderkids on football manager is one of the sweetest parts if not the sweetest part of the game and one simply can`t beat that special feeling of getting that special player at your disposal at his early age, dropping him into the team and watching him closely as he turn into a world hitter; that’s one of the best feeling on the game and its facilitating although it’s not that easy to identify Wonderkids on football manager.

New features on football manager 2017

Many features were added to the latest version of the game and it’s indeed a leap from the 2016 version of the game and some of the features are listed below;

 There is addition of social media whereby the fans react to series of happening in the club such as signing or loaning of players and also helps the manager to keep an eye on the notable events happening in the world football.

 The goals score and concede from crosses are reduce to a greater extent compare to its predecessor

 New staffs are added to the game [data analyst and sports scientist]

 Brexit was also added to the game and it really change the landscape of the world football on the game

 Transfers and contracts negotiation are quite smarter and more involved

Football manager is a game of high thinking because you have to think deep in order to manage your team on the pitch second in second out and everything at the club including the injuries and the fans.
