What is Rocket League?
Rocket League is a driving football game where instead of football players there are cars. The game is mostly played in 3 vs 3 matches and is obviously based on multiplayer. There are also different game-modes that incorporate many different elements, I once even saw a hockey game-mode. It is probably one of the most well-known football games on Steam with a large fan base. It has been on the first page of top sellers on Steam for a while.
My thoughts on the game
I believe this is the best football related game on Steam as of 2017 because it is just a lot of fun with friends. I really like the vehicle customization in the game because you can add your own little style to your car to make it look more suited for your liking. It's overall a well-balanced game in my opinion and deserves all the recognition it has gotten for its originality and great gameplay mechanics with boosts flips and jumps it makes for a diverse gameplay.
What others think of the game
This game is surely beloved by many hardcore and casual gamers all around the world because its gameplay allows for any kind of playstyle that you'd desire. The eSports scene isn't missing out either because this game has had championships and probably will have a lot more in the near future. There are as usual for this popular of a game many YouTubers who make videos about it and also some that base their channel on Rocket League.
The future for the game
The future is looking good so far since the player base is very stable and doesn't seem to be dropping and I don't think it will for a long time. Rocket League only costs $20 at full price and much less on summer sales and other event sales so it's very affordable for gamers who do not have that much money to spend. It also doesn't require a beastly gaming computer to run and can also be played on a console, which makes it even more accessible to everyone. I believe the game will keep growing and if the developers decide to add more game-modes and events it will surely be one of the most popular games on Steam.
Conclusion
To conclude this post I will suggest everyone try this game out, who knows maybe it will be very enjoyable for you. To be honest, the $20 price is way worth it and could be increased if the creators wanted to, but since you can get it for such a bargain I'd say to not think twice about it. The fun times you can have with your friends while playing this game are worth the $20, but remember, that is my personal opinion and you may not agree and that's totally fine.
