Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered Edition to be Released as a Standalone Game on June 27 for PS4

Finally Activision has announced that the standalone edition of the critically acclaimed remastered edition of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.

The standalone version will launch on June 27 at a price of $39.99. It will also be released for Xbox One and Windows PC at a later date. Here is the trailer.

The remastered version will include all of the same content from the original game with revamped character animation, remastered audio, and upgraded texture resolution and detail.

Here is a comparison video done by YouTube channel Ultimate Gamerz showing just how much work Activision has put in to this game making it one of the best remastered games I have ever seen.

As you can see, the games looks better than ever. So, for those who haven't had a chance to play the original 2007 release, or you just want to revisit the game in all of it's remastered glory, this one is definitely worth picking up.
