Halo 6: What We Want

Let's get real. 343 Industries has done some great work, but they need to seriously invest more time into bringing both the story and multiplayer together.

Halo 4, Great Story, Poor Multiplayer
The first FPS entry for 343 Industries, Halo 4, had a great story, but a poor multiplayer experience. We know this because of raw data showing that Halo 4 died shortly after it began.

Halo 5, Not So Great Story, Amazing Multiplayer
The second of the saga, Halo 5, had a.. not so great story, but an amazing multiplayer accompanied with constant free DLC and huge community support.

Halo 6, And What's To Come

Now we're onto the third entry, and likely the best into the saga, Halo 6. Here are a few things we'd like to see in Halo 6 going forward.

The obvious is that we want a story that pulls us in and keeps us interested along with a multiplayer that gets everyone, even old fans of the series, coming back for more.

More Free and Consistent Longterm DLC

Playable Elites for Multiplayer Only

50/50 Split of Vehicle Variations
There wasn't a video for this one, but it's obvious we need more vehicles that are of different variations (driving, flying, watercraft, etc.) that feel similar (UNSC, Covenant, etc.) when competing against one another in multiplayer.

Better Armor Customization
It's odd that in Halo 5 they introduced microtransactions when a majority of the helmets and armor look the same. It would be nice if we could customize more details like Halo: Reach, but going even deeper into the customization of colors and style.

Forge, Customs Search, etc. Right Out of the Box
Let's not keep people waiting for these features in Halo 6, introduce them right away just like previous Halo games in the series. Halo 5 hurt the forge community initially because of it's slow release of Forge.

Longer Missions
Plain and simple, we don't want shore missions. We want LONG stretched out missions that make Halo feel more open-world meets RPG meets FPS meets enjoy the journey.
