Great blog thanks for saying what's been floating around in the greater consciousness. The idea of a game is improving your skills so that you become better. There needs to be incentive for getting better or else no would play or continue losing. Steemit and other blockchain based platforms capture the idea of a quality, well thought out game. A zero-sum game or non-game like Tic-Tac-Toe fail because once both players learn the all the rules there is no way to win (same with draughts/checkers BTW). These are like the Facebooks and Twitters of online platforms. There is no winning and there is no incentive improve your content using these platforms.
