Wizards Unite: A New Harry Potter Mobile Game!

Harry Potter is a legacy series, that I'm sure I won't need to explain too much. Niantic, Inc. - creators Ingress and (likely what you'd know them for,) Pokémon Go are the most well known in their genre of blending real life travel, exploring and collecting / grinding in a virtual world - messed with your own through AR (Augmented Reality) Harry Potter: Wizards Unite is the next installment in the mobile AR experience games that Niantic, Inc. are so good at producing. This style of game is a very good way to be motivated to go outside and explore local areas and places you might not have gone to otherwise. If Wizards Unite has as much of a community as Pokémon Go still has to this day, there's so mistaking it, this game will be a success.

Little is known about this upcoming game, however Niantic have teased a few aspects of the game for eager fans. It will include characters, both new and old, with veterans from the Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts Series also being included. A brief plot summary was also included with the teaser page which explains that you're a new recruit for the Statute of Secrecy Task Force trying to take down The Calamity, an entity that's causing magical objects and creatures to be released into the muggle world. It's your job to collect magical items, battle Death Eaters and explore more mythos of the magical world as you play along with friends in this new magical experience. Harry Potter: Wizards Unite is going to be released exclusively to the iOS and Play Stores in the near future - sadly, we don't have a solid release date, though we do have a planned year of 2019, though this could change without notice.
