Maplestory: Black Mage
Nexon is coming in hot with a brand new update. It showcases a villain who had been a major player in the Maplestory-verse. With new quests and skills, players across all worlds will need to work together to participate and defeat the Black Mage.
The Black Mage will be an epic showdown between eligible players as they will participate in a number of missions in preparation. There will be a number of important defence missions that will be vital in defeating the Black Mage as the boss's total HP will be shared across the servers. These are the missions that will be added to the content update.

Defense Mission: Flame Bird Support - Players can learn the Flame Bird’s Summon skill by talking to Helena. While the Flame Bird is summoned, defeated monsters will drop Flame Bird’s Determination

Defense Mission: Twilight Defense - This mission involves 2-4 characters joining forces to defeat enemies using cannons and protect the castle walls

Defense Mission: Battle at Sea - Players must defeat enemies within the time limit with ships and crew members
In addition, there will be a number of quests and other adversaries players will face such as Verus Hilla, one of the Black Mage's leading Commanders. There will also be new areas for players to explore as it relates to Tenebris's areas.
