Pokemon Go: Getting Ready for Some Egg Hatching!

Being only one Pokemon away from completing my Kanto Region (Generation 1) Pokedex, I am taking some time from my busy schedule (work and gaming) to hatch as many 7km eggs as possible! So I bought some incubators to hatch the one in inventory to ensure I get a clean slate to add 7km for the event. I need a Kangaskhan which is currently only found in Australia so the grind will be real for sure as there will be a chance that I get a couple of the other ones as well. However, thanks to the trading system I can probably leverage my bets by trading with friends who may get multiple hatches of the Pokemon.

I recently acquire a Mr. Mime from a friend that came back from a European visit with a bunch to trade away. I had also gotten a couple of Farfetch’d when he was available for a short time one day sometime last year. Living in North America has gotten me access to Tauros which I have collected in case I ever ran into visitors from other regions in need of one to complete their Pokedex.

I think this is a great event to finally close out a celebration of the success Niantic has had with Pokemon Go worldwide. I am sure that those trainers that had these pending are sure glad that the Generation 1 chapter will now be closed. Now the focus will shift to completing Gen 2 within the next year hopefully!
