Destiny 2: Solstice of Heroes Armor Set Update

As we get closer to the end of the Destiny Solstice of Heroes event and the launch to the new Forsaken DLC, I have finally completed the maxed out armor set for my main character! This means I was able to complete all the challenges attached to the legendary armors in order to upgrade them into Masterwork armor.

It was truly a challenge given that some of the activities were quite difficult to obtain given what was needed. For example, I needed to grind some PvP Crucible activities to achieve Legend Rank as I had hardly played this season. Fortunately, Bungie increased the ranking point towards the middle of the month to make it easier to obtain. I also needed to complete the Leviathan Prestige Raid which was difficult because it required a full team of six guardians to complete. This was challenging as the Prestige mode was not completed by some people on our team so we needed to really sit and complete it by trial and error and training for some of the team members.

It did help that once we got out Legendary Solstice of Heroes armor our power levels increased to take on some of these challenges. The fact that Iron Banner also started on August 14th helped to get more of the team on to play together and string wins for improved ranking. This was also the first time that Iron Banner awarded rank points which helped. All in all, is was great to achieve these milestones despite it probably losing a bit of meaning once Forsaken starts since the new Power level cap will be 600. However, it did serve as content to keep many players engage during the waiting process.
