Because different from the giant games that are usually very business-oriented, indie games usually still open enough space for experimental variety of concepts that have never been before. Then you meet games like Her Story, Dragon - That Cancer, to the super absurd but also charming at the same time as the Stanley Parable classmate. But for the affairs of the platformer genre, the "loudness" of Limbo's charm from the world's atmosphere to the gameplay mechanics on offer makes PlayDead's popularity skyrocket. Like Limbo, the atmosphere is so dark and invites more questions to be the main selling point. There is a sense of curiosity to find out what is really going on. You who have played Limbo in the past seem to be familiar with how PlayDead works. The developer of this one is famous never offer explicit plot, with the support of dialogue or variety of cinematic scene for example. They further encourage you to find out what they want to convey through character animation, the reactions they show, and finally - what the story is really happening.

What you know is that you act as a child who is trapped in a complicated post-apocalyptic world situation. Regardless of your human form, for some reason, you become the target of a group of people who seem to be doing a secret experiment for an obscure purpose. The deeper you get into this body of research, the more questions that arise. You meet many things you would never have anticipated.Are you going to have a clear conclusion after successfully completing a game that only lasted about 3-4 hours of this? Unfortunately no. Just like us, it is likely that you will also harvest more questions and mysteries that then grow into more theories and speculations. But one interesting thing, this is the kind of game that will end up making you try to find more information, engage in various discussions, and then draw the conclusions of what really happened.
