PILLARS OF ETERNITY II: DEADFIRE - THE FORGOTTEN SANCTUM

in #gaming6 years ago

Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire from Obsidian Entertainment has made it to excellent. Undoubtedly it can be declared one of the best RPGs in the last decade, which does not make a great shame to shame and moves it to the next level of entertainment. Fans of fantasy game of heroes chose to chase one of the gods for ten to hundreds of hours. Many roles, stories, dialogues and texts, objects, gradual leveling, and keeping the traditional rules of isometric RPGs, all in a wonderful setting with the support of a cruise on the seagoing ship. Net RPG orgasm. And now we have a third DLC.

It has been presented earlier that The Forgotten Sanctum will be the last addition to the rich world of the Deadfire archipelago. Wherever Obsidian steps will be taken by Microsoft, it is a little dared to predict. But we believe they will not forget the isometric RPG because they really do. But what else do you expect from experienced cartoonists who have a cult bomb on their T-shirts (KOTOR 2, Neverwinter Nights 2, Alpha Protocol, Fallout: New Vegas, South Park: The Stick of Truth)? We are also looking forward to The Outer Worlds, which, despite a bigger focus on action, could cause less concern, but I personally do not have the slightest doubt. Because Obsidian. But let's go back from the snow in the clouds to the cruel ground of the present and look at The Forgotten Sanctum.

Though the Deadfire story is closed, the archipelago offers a new plot with a significant influence on your choices to culminate. It is set before the final escapades at Ukaizo and this branch does not disturb the story at all. It will be up to you to decide whether or not you can help or stand up against the big magician from Eorah to reveal the secret hidden by a generation before the eyes of all people. Llengrath has summoned you for help - to visit you on a boat trip on your kite to reveal the mystery of the dark islands of Black Isle in which the witch was submerged by the witch Maura. The goal is clear: he does not give up his struggle, and tries to stop Eothas, searching in a long-forgotten library and its dusty archives. As you progress deeper and deeper into the guts of mad, but immensely interesting mazes, you are totally enjoying the addition to which developers have put everything.

The fact that Deadfire takes you to the last addition only at a particular moment has its cause. The maze will really check your squad, but it's not hardcore to frustrating. If you're used to rolling all your enemies with your group, you have to hit the game more often after stopping the game, giving commands to individual members, and choosing them right. And it's fun again, because The Forgotten Sanctum, with about 8-10 hours of adventures, barks to experienced players to enjoy it for the last time. In addition, it is not a purely combat-oriented addition, but story and wandering are adequately represented.

The environment is one of the main attributes for which The Forgotten Sanctum offers nothing but a sincere recommendation. When you arrive at Black Isle, the hell environment will immediately remind you of Ukaizo, but it will be even worse. After an initial acquaintance, possibly adding a new character to the game, you will also find ruptures among the wizards, making yourself decide who to add. The door opens to an ancient library with thousands of dusty books and a mysterious mass that grows mushrooms and strange pulses. To this, the librarians without the face, the crumbling souls trapped in this world, and that's not all: finally, you dive into the underground (arachnophobic health spiders), look at the mill on human bodies and meat, tissues and other disgusting mazes. It cries, the jaws are tearing, the bones are cracked. This is how I imagine an extension different from the original game. Smack.

Even though the level cap does not rise, you will get a few items, animals, new characters and heroes, guns, and grimoires, plus the huge bosses. A traditionally rich refill that will please. The plot itself is not original, but its submission will bring you to your side. The environment is very interesting and this time it is really necessary to look at the way you decide to go on the individual rhythms in the maze, because the consequences will be collected on the surface when solving the final mission. The overall appearance is rather slightly horror with the touch of the Lovecraft worlds. Something different, but at the same time extremely enticing, bringing the Deadfire world to the necessary rhythm.

Smaller news is Critter Cleaver, a fun toy for fans. I have not used it too much, but I do not question her sense. When traveling with your pets, you are sure to find a dilemma when one of them liked the outlook, but no longer the ability. Problem solved, just sweep into The Dark Cupboard in Perki Overlook, Neketake. You put a pet into a special device, then you sacrifice it (animal burgers in the bloody killer whip like a sucker), you get the skills you can put in an existing animal or you create new ones, being limited to money in your mosque.

Otherwise, the exact same thing you expect: the isometric view, detailed and beautiful graphics, tons of texts and dialogues. You may skip, but you will lose a well-written story and a world that can be considered fantastic if it comes out in book form. The Forgotten Sanctum is like a novel from an interesting fantasy universe - a multi-faceted novel with thousands of pages of exciting story. At The Forgotten Sanctum, you'll enjoy unpleasant and exciting moments, as well as an incredibly sarcastic humor with a pin of horrible horror. Something other than the original Deadfire. That's why The Forgotten Sanctum is greatly appreciated. It does not work unnecessarily, it does not give you ten hours to complete new tasks. But the few you spend with the game are pumped up by fun.
