The beginning of one of the most iconic characters of the Nintendo company that has lasted for more than three decades in the big 8-bit Super Mario Bros. together with some of the most beloved games but also hated by many the famous Duck Hunt. Thanks to this cartridge I started in the big world of the 8 bits (remember that this was one of the games incorporated in the console at the time of its sale), both the graphic impact and the gameplay in its time were totally impressive, marking a great track in the gamer world, the amount of hours I invested in this video game were extreme, discovering each of their worlds, secrets, enemies, to get to how to pass it as fast as possible, will always be one of the most remembered classics and played in gamer history.

We start with our little famous plumber, despite being one of the first games for Nes the design of the sprites is very good, and more those of our dear person, one of the things that caught my attention was how fast was seen in the running and when we changed the direction abruptly it was clearly seen how it slowed down with a slippery effect, we see it in many current games, but by that time, it was something totally new.

The mapping of its 8 levels are excellent, creating a a game of the genre of platforms of excellent quality, each one possesses its difficulty which is varying as we go forward being level 8 one of the most difficult of the game, one of the levels that cost me the most was the world 2 (the water world), thanks to him I hate the vast majority of aquatic worlds in video games (I think it was an XD trauma), this was because the control or handling of the character was totally different, really stressed me.

One of the things I liked most was the Warp Zone, it was one of the first video games to include this, it simply consisted of a hidden zone at certain levels that allowed you to advance up to 3 levels (I loved doing this to avoid the water world XD), this remained as a reference for many games later for several generations, another super classic trick was to be able to take infinite lives which we could execute in the world 3, was arriving at the final ramp and wait the precise moment to jump on the koopa, and squeeze the "A" as many times as we could to jump over it getting many lives.

The gameplay for the control of Nes is simply perfect, having a domain totally successful in all directions, we can jump with a good precision giving a good result in all the movements we want to do, also allows us to run if we hit the " B "of the control, this is excellent when we want to give those super jumps in the final parts of each level or if we want to skate crouched to dodge something, I sincerely consider this point one of the strongest in the game.

Let's talk a little bit about his teammate Duck Hunt, one of the classics in the world of 8 Bits, his mechanics are simple, we handled the great Zapper that was the pistol that came with the console, we must aim at the ducks to hit the shot, when doing so the dog will pick them up for us, but if we fail, there will be the hateful dog laughing at us (all a classic), apart we had another game mode with some cymbals which was a bit more difficult, and here we did not have that hateful dog laughing of us XD.

Despite their few melodies we will not get bored of them, they became a musical icon within videogames, their classic song of the first level has been one of the most played with any musical instrument around the world, it really gives the perfect touch to make it an addictive game, his special sounds for his moment were innovative, giving much to talk about the great console of Nes of the 80s.

Thanks to Super Mario Bros. I was able to introduce myself in an addictive way to the world of video games, the poor cartridge came boiling from the console (I remember burning as some 2 XD transformers), allowing me to find out and investigate many more games of his style until present, simply the words to indicate the radical change that influenced this videogame remain, is one of the cartridges that I have more appreciation and affection in my small collection.

It's my first video game <3

In my case was not my first video game, but if it was that more play of many at the time

LOL @ that epic Mario animation.

As for that Duck Hunt dog, you could actually get revenge in Vs. Duck Hunt (the arcade version). The dog goes jumping around during bonus rounds and shooting him would end the round early.

dogshot

Oh yeah, in that version you really can give that damned dog his due

I call myself a gamer, and I haven't finished it yet. Shame on me

A gamer but incomplete XD
