Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony Review
Danganronpa is one of the most popular series of lovers of visual novel , a thriller that mixes irony, incredible strokes, charismatic characters and genial mechanics. This mix makes this series one of a kind, and after closing the accounts with Hope's Peak Academy, Spike Chunsoft's kids have been set to make a new start.
To be precise Danganronpa V3 is narratively unconnected with the previous episodes of the series, presenting a new school and a new cast of characters, while maintaining the same context of bettoads, homicides and processes at fulmicotone. As a big fan of the series I was very happy to be able to put my hands on this new chapter which is the PS4 version.

In this Chapter the developers have completely turned the page, abandoning the concept of hope and despair at the heart of the previous chapters ; In this new episode, we will be dressed in the super-piano pianist Kaede Akamatsu, who will find himself without memories and locked up inside the Ultimate Academy for Gifted Juveniles, along with other comrades. Believing to them, however, will be a double cut weapon, since destiny will bring them to encounter dead sometimes rather bloody, especially during the new executions that - in some cases - have left me really speechless. Homicides, however, will be no less, and some cases will be so articulated that guilty will prove to be really arduous.

As a script, in the course of history we will be able to explore the new school long and wide, as the various areas will be unlocked . Free phases (the iconic "Free Time") will also come back, where you can increase the ties with the various students by talking to them and giving them present, so you can get precious "fragments of friendship" that you can spend to buy useful skills. Just like in Danganronpa 2, you will be able to buy the skills to use during Class Trial , this time before getting into court so you can buy and equip your skills at one time - much more comfortable than in the past.
What the game revolve around
The game revolve around an anguish dark hangs over a poor girl. Kaede Akamatsu, this his name, awakens in a narrow, enveloping darkness. The sixteen guys are trapped inside the "Ultimate Academy for Gifted Juveniles , a special school for kids with unique talents, a school so special to be separated from the rest of the world and from which it is impossible to get out alive.
The Storyline
People familiar with the earlier sections of this series are probably wondering where their favorite antagonist has stayed. Do not worry, the fun is fivefold in the shape of the Monokubs. Five incredibly adorable but also life-threatening bears, each with their own characteristic features. Well, they are still wet behind the ears, because they forgot something. Again we wake up in a safe, this time with another outfit. When we leave the vault, there are no gigantic robots waiting for us, but the five beers. We are asked the site to explore, so time to go. In the school area you can briefly meet all other students who are locked with you. These are of course not just students, but all Ultimates, either the best in their field. So there are some obvious choices like the Ultimate Tennis Player and the Ultimate Pianist, as well as some more distinctive types like the Ultimate Maid and the Ultimate Gentleman.
After the brief introduction with all the students we will gather again in the gym to hear the meaning of these bears, but first get acquainted with the school principal. And there he is, in full glory: Monokuma is back! The Monokubs are happy to see their dad again. Yes, Monokuma has children. As if it could not be worse. We will be briefed on what our assignments are this semester; or rather, the only assignment we have: kill each other until only two people remain. Of course there are some rules attached here. You must always kill someone without witnesses. After someone is killed, a Class Trial will always take place, a kind of lawsuit. Is the perpetrator appointed? Then he will be punished, orja, executed. Being the wrong appointed, then everyone except the perpetrator dies. Up to a nice semester at school ..!

After you have done the necessary research, it is time to throw the facts on the table. Who did it? The Class Trial brings with it many elements and something has been added since the previous parts. In essence, it has remained the same. During the Class Trial people will speak and tell their alibi. It is up to you to intercept the lies by taking the decision with a so-called Truth Bullet. But in other cases, you will have to help someone make his point by substantiating his statement and convincing everyone that that person speaks the truth. New here are the V counters that you activate by first launching a kind of bullet time and then shooting on the statement. This significantly increases the points you earn during the Class Trial. In addition to this V-counter, there are also three new mini-games added that you will need to complete during the Class Trial.
Follow Up
Although the story is in principle quite independent of other games, it is advisable to have fresh information from the saga -games and anime- to know all the references that can be made to past events. And in any case we recommend you try at least the first two Danganronpa for their quality, which are the best of the genre.

Not many new features in the free time section, although the game now has some improvements that update the classic formula. The control includes a control option more comfortable and similar to the FPS, and we can interact with the setting by shooting objects to find Monokuma coins, those used in the purchase of gifts. The graphics have already been prepared for high definition - unlike Danganronpa 1 & 2 Reload - and the three-dimensional scenes present more detail. Instead of firing a "truth", we lie consciously to force the direction of the debate or that the culprit commits a slip.
