As always, great video. I had no idea that MMO-like games went that far behind in time. I liked the philosophical explanation of what they was, and I loved how you pretty much destroyed WoW-clones out there.

To be honest, I never really got into MMOs. I played Metin 2 for a while (yeah, I know right?) and never spent a dime on their micro-transactions, and that was pretty much it. I've seen people spending their wages, their savings and their parents' savings after some very cool pieces of equipment, and I know myself, I know I'd get hooked after a while. Nonetheless, I miss a decent experience in MMOs. Thought about SW:TOR (because I loved Kotor) and TES:Online (because I loved TES since Daggerfall) but I never could risk to be disappointed. Seems like I was wise :D

MMOs were literally all my childhood, addictive as hell!
Good post mate, shall you be interested, I'm sharing my insights on the new VR technologies introduces at CES2018 :)

The MMO genre is really big and Important... It's a shame that is having some troubled times nowadays.

Great video by the way!
