Gamer gossip goes a long way
Did you hear? That game is great!
More recently, I've started playing single player again every now and then but I just focus on lasting through the session. My gaming style has changed. Of course, the way AAA games are much greedier nowadays doesn't help at all.
Whever I do find a gem I love or a honest gamedev, I back it up 300% by buying the game if it runs on my pc and sharing the store link as a recommendation to all of my friends. I do my part and I help those who do theirs. What's more important than that? At least as far as the gaming industry goes, I suppose nothing.
Don't just enjoy games from the better companies. Talk about them. Give them good fame, more players and better dev reputation. They deserve it and so do all of us gamers.
