Twisted Metal 2012[Game Review]

Hello Everybody ... Welcome back again at my blog, which never gets tired of every day will give you a review of old and new games right now. But before, I want to know in advance how are you all today, whether good and healthy? I hope all of you are healthy and all right and always in the protection of God. Okay for this time, I want to give a review of a game that may be missed by some people. Therefore, you should not go anywhere before reading my review to complete.

DESCRIPTION Hi ... of course you all still remember with this one game right ? Because the brutal driving sensations and character in this game it is hard for us not to remember it. Okay, Twisted Metal (2012) is a combat vehicle game developed by Eat Sleep Play and published by Sony Computer Entertainment for PlayStation 3 which was released on 14 February 2012 ago. The game itself, is a reboot of the previous sequel to Twisted Metal.

PLOT The story begins with a man named Marcus Kane a fictional character who turned out to have mental disorders. Where Marcus began obsessing with strange things, so in the end he used a clown mask to change his identity with the name Sweet Tooth. However, he became a crazy person who then killed all members of his family except his daughter (Sophie) who managed to escape. Sweet Tooth tried to find the whereabouts of her daughter who went, to the point that one day she destroyed a hospital because she felt very confident if her daughter was there despite the fact Sophie was not there.

The search for Sophie's daughter, who never made a result, frustrated Sweet Tooth and finally decided to follow a battle event called Twisted Metal. In the battle, Sweet Tooth succeeds in destroying the Grimm brothers who drive a giant truck. After that he confronted Calypso at his headquarters, Calypso Industries. On the other hand, Sweet Tooth realizes if Calypso has hidden Sophie's daughter. And the allegation was answered with the handover of Sophie daughter Sweet Tooth in a state that was not lifeless by Calypso. Apparently, Sophie's daughter Sweet had already died before she attacked the hospital by suicide due to the pressures of life. Sweet is crazy, can not believe if his daughter Sophie died from suicide, for that he also plans to take revenge against Calypso over the death of his daughter.

The story for this series, tells about a super model named Krista Sparks (Doll Face) who suffered damage to the face due to a car accident. He also performed a small operation and the result was able to restore the beauty of his face but, with a scar on the cheek. Krista who has a perfect personality, can not accept the fact and regard the scar as a disaster that has damaged her face. So to cover his face, he was wearing a mask that was already so tightly attached that it could not be removed. Krista followed the Twisted Metal tournament to win the prize and hoped that his desire to take off his mask could be realized.

GAMEPLAYWell ... For gameplay, this series still uses the same concept with the previous series. Where we as players will compete with a wide range of destructive breakdown vehicles to win prizes in tournaments organized by Calypso. There are two main modes of play that we can play, namely the Single Player mode (Campaign) and Multiplayer modes. For Single Player mode, we can play characters like Needles Kane, Dollface, Mr. Grimm, and Preacher. For local multiplayer mode, we can play up to 4 players at once in one screen (splitscreen) while for online multiplayer mode, we can play up to 16 players. Wow ... It's amazing !!

And not only that, in this multiplayer mode there are also some game modes that we can play like Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, Endurance, Race, Team Hunted, and Last Man Standing. Even out of those modes, the developer added several other online game modes such as Nuke mode. Where in this Nuke mode we as a player can choose to join one of the factions, to fight the enemy faction. Each faction has a giant metal statue that is placed in the air by helicopter. For that, every team must try to destroy the statue. The factions we can choose here include the Clowns, the Dolls, the Skulls, or the Holy Men.

Not only that, there are also many vehicles available to fight like the Ford Mustang, truck cars, motorcycles, and helicopters that have been modified by adding various types of weapons to fight. For his own collection of weapons, there are machine guns, missiles, and also chainsaws that will always accompany you to finish off the enemies. This chainsaw can be used when the enemy's position is in close proximity to you, or you can use it in an emergency. Certainly every level of difficulty that exists, has a different gift that is 3 kinds of medals that you can collection such as bronze, silver, and gold. The more medals you collect, the more items you get.

Finally for display, the quality of graphics that can be said not so special. Because it seems the developer is more focused on the performance of Multi Player online game that can support up to 16 players at once. In addition, maybe dust, explosions, debris, dark, dreary that's the right words to describe the graphical display in this game. With the arena of games that tend to be brown, surely you will always compete with other players to survive and win the tournament. So no wonder if there will be many explosions and debris of buildings destroyed by sadistic wars among participants of the tournament.
