Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands [Game Review]

Hello gamers lovers ... Back again with me dolphin here and surely welcome back to my blog. As always, on this occasion allow me to give or share game reviews that may already be familiar to my friends. And to shorten the time let's just we refer to his review as follows.

DESCRIPTION Tom Clancy Ghost Recon Wildlands is a tactical shooter game developed by Ubisoft Paris and published by Ubisoft on 7 March 2017, for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. And is the first game featuring an open world environment. Because in this game there are various such as mountains, forests, deserts, and salt flats so I can say this is one of the best games presented by Ubisoft.

STORY The story begins with the battle that took place in Bolivia in July 2019. Bolivia is becoming increasingly unstable like Santa Blanca, where Bolivia has become the country with the largest cocaine producer. This drug cartel's involvement concerns the United States government, and the influence of the Santa Blanca that began spreading beyond Bolivia. For that the United States started Operation Kingslayer, a joint operation between the CIA, DEA, and JSOC.

Where the US army sent a special elite operating system fireteam called Ghosts to destroy the cartel and reveal the relationship between Santa Blanca and the local government. Ghost team itself consists of Nomad as team leader, Midas as Tactical Gunner, Holt as Engineer, and Weaver as Sniper. Then this team individually made their own way to Bolivia. They are gathered and dispatched to the mission area in Bolivia by helicopter along with their CIA Karen Bowman who is also a close friend of Ricky.

When they landed in the province of Itacua they met with Pac Katari, leader of Kataris 26, the only opposition to Santa Blanca. Pacari Kat gave them their first mission to recover Amaru, an elderly man who is now captive by Santa Blanca. After the mission, Nomad's teams are free to deal with drug cartels in any way they deem appropriate.

You need to know as long as the team is on a mission to dismantle the drug cartel, they are given the option to pursue El Sueno. Tim himself received a call from El Sueno who tried to bribe the team to work with him in Santa Blanca. El Sueno promised them with big profits but of course the team rejected the offer.

Back in the mission, after the team unpacked the cartel, Katari asked the team to meet her in a place. But after they arrived at the place, they did not even find any sign of Katari they even found the body Amaru. Suspicious, the team asked Bowman to hold a meeting. But unfortunately there the team even found out that Bowman had already been held captive by rebels.

The team feels that Katari was the one who betrayed them, so the team rushed to the El Sueno mausoleum to capture him. There the team struggled against the rebel opposition and drug cartels. Not only was there a team and Bowman also caught El Sueno who had just beheaded Katari. El Sueno had to surrender to the team, but Bowman received a call from his boss and was told if Sueno had made a deal with the legal council to hand over the head of a drug cartel instead.

Need to know, the mission will end if the team has completely finished unpacking the cartel. But if the cartel remains, Bowman will execute El Sueno and of course it causes Bowman himself to be fired from the CIA and arrested for killing El Sueno. But if the team really succeeds in dismantling the cartel completely, then Bowman will bring El Sueno into a protective custody. Later in detention El Sueno will provide more information about other drug cartels, terrorist groups, and weapons smugglers.

GAMEPLAYIn this game you will play as a team member of a special elite operations unit of the United States Army under the Joint Special Operations Command (JOSC) Special Operations Command. But this game will not offer futuristic experience, but rather adopt a more real war that is similar to the first Tom Clancy Ghost Recon. Thus, the equipment displayed in this game is also based on weapons and equipment commonly used by military forces around the world.

It can be seen in the drone that can be used to mark the enemy. The drone also has limited ability until you upgrade. This game will be the first entry to feature an open world, especially from the Bolivian state, which forms the basis of the location setting where it is divided into nine types of battlegrounds such as mountains, forests, deserts, terrain, and dynamic weather systems and day and night cycles.

When you carry out missions during the day, you can find enemies very easily, but unlike when you carry out a mission during the night that has its own advantages, you can see with the offer of a hiding place. In addition you can also make observations before carrying out the mission. In this game, you can also take advantage of various vehicles, such as motorcycles, helicopter, cars, speed bot and trains. Also in carrying out missions, you can also do it in various ways, such as parachute jumping from a helicopter, walking, or driving to the destination. Further on this game, you are also given several options such as using the Stealth feature, melee attack, or using long or short weapons.

In this game you can also interact to build friendly or hostile relationships with non playable characters either with citizens, officials or the world's rebels. But you must know, to interact you need a smart strategy, because the impact of the interaction itself will affect you in achieving the goal.

In addition, the game also features Experience points that make the characters you play become more powerful and weapons and equipment that you use can also be improved. As for multiplayer you as a player can combine up to three other players to explore the game world and complete the campaign missions together besides solo games.

CONCLUSIONAs I play the Ghost Recon series from the first, Wildlands is the most satisfying. Not only in terms of a very large map but in terms of freedom in carrying out the mission. Indeed, this game still has some shortcomings such as co-op system is limited by NAT, until the existence of some glitch and system physics on vehicles that look weird.

For me it is only a few minor flaws that can still be tolerated and does not diminish the main essence in this game especially in terms of the story. Because I myself really like the story of military fiction involving politics with a realistic background and I think Wildlands managed to present it very well.
