[Game Review] Mad Max (2015)
For that, Max travels to get some parts that are needed and of course that's not an easy thing. Because, it would be difficult to get past the Wasteland area of War Boys fortress in a Lighthouse and he also had to penetrate a gate that was guarded by the War Boys. After that he could handle Max with Magnum Opus equipped with Thunderpoon, continuing his journey to save the Pink Eye "a woman of mechanical skill" just like Chumbucket, from an invasion led by Stank Gum. Furthermore, to complete the shortage of his car, Max followed a race held at Gastown with a V8 engine prize. After winning the race against Stank Gum and Tenderloin, Max also received a gift of V8 engine and also a concubine named Hope. However, after he received the prize, Scrotus attacked him with a crossbow and threw it down the mine. Seeing that, Hope immediately rescues Max and takes him to Scab or otherwise known as Bloodbag.
While undergoing surgery, Max is unconsciously hallucinating to marry Hope. Aware of the operation, Max and Hope travel to the Deep Friah temple. Once there, Hope asks Max to find his daughter, Glory who escaped to the Buzzard area. Without waiting for long, Max rushes to get there and rescues Glory. After successfully rescuing Glory, he returns to the temple and there he meets Chumbucket who is suddenly angry then brings Magnum Opus back to his home. Max also tried to catch up, but it turns out Scrotus and Stank Gum had already arrived at Chum's house, even they tortured Chum and forced him to tell where Hope and Glory was. Knowing that, Max rushes back to the temple and there he finds a lifeless Hope and a wounded Glory, lying on the floor. Max who is angry and does not accept the situation, vowed to avenge him against Scrotus and his followers.
Then, for every action you take, such as destroying Scrotus's various tower marks or any existing Sniper location, will bring down the power of the Scrotus region. You could say you were a savior who helped the rulers of the region to gain their power back. And of course with what you have done, you are entitled to get the appropriate rewards. For example, to get Scraps (Wasteland currency) you can get it when you've managed to destroy the enemy's car or when you've completed various side quests. And if you manage to free a certain region by destroying some important areas for Scrotus, then it will be filled by your ally and of course also will increase the amount of Scraps you get regularly like bank deposits that continue to liquid without your guessing before. The point is, the more areas you master, the higher the number of Scraps you will get. You can use Scraps for all the things you need to increase Max or increase your Magnum Opus. If you want to strengthen Max, then give better equipment or weapon variations to make it easier when fighting.
And if you want to improve Opus, then modify it as perfectly as possible, from the side of attack, defense, or adding variations of weapons so you can anticipate any threats coming from different angles. For that, put Scraps together as much as possible by completing missions, because scraps have such a vital role to support you fighting against the enemy during the game. Next, in addition to Scraps, you can collect a different currency called Griffa Point with much different uses. If you previously used Scraps to improve the physical items, while Griffa Point you can use more to strengthen Max's psychic and abilities. Examples such as to thicken the Health bar, harvesting "water" as a healing item more effectively, and to ensure if melee weapons that we get in the fight is not easily damaged. And the Griffa Point, you can get by completing Challenge or side mission. With all the improvements you make in terms of equipment and weapons, then Max will certainly be better prepared in the face of the opponent even fighting with his bare hands.

There are fast-moving enemies with counters to unlock the defense, there are enemies with high defense that need to be attacked with strong attacks, to enemies with a super lively typical. Apart from it all, the lack of variation of the enemy makes one of the biggest disadvantages of this game's gameplay side. However, apart from that weakness, Mad Max remains an exciting open-world game. And next, another interesting thing is, the number of collections of cool cars that are not just as a means of transportation only.

Certainly these cars will always accompany Max along the way as, along the area with lots of sand, dry land areas, garbage heap areas, to areas full of oil spills, and of course this can not be separated from the role of Magnum Opus. Because, there are some missions that can only be solved by using Magnum Opus. In addition, Max always carries his weapons like, Harpoon that can be used to hold and pull certain objects, long distance snipers, spray fire on both sides, to Thunderpoon that looks like a small rocket launcher. In addition, you can also use Magnum Opus to destroy giant doors that block you from the base of Scrotus troops, destroying the convoys of other enemy cars, to follow a deadly racing event.
