RE: SteemMonsters - A Late Introduction
I’ve always found magic to be a bit overpowered unless you have void on the tank. I do love the combat rule that makes magic apply to armor first. I prefer to have my tank with armor so that is always an added bonus. Even more so with how deadly a good magic deck can be version my fire deck.
I’ve found the learning curve so far for the game to not be too bad. With how often they are updating the game almost weekly it will be interesting to see if they are able to keep a lower barrier to learning the game or if it increases over the long run.
When I start a deck if I can get a melee sneak in the second slot I go for that. I hate having ranged up next as they just become useless. So I tend to go with a melee tank, lower health melee with sneak, range/magic and finally my biggest hp range to sock up whatever is hitting the last slot and give him the longest possible time to do damage.
I’m hoping over time they will make some small quality of changes to the UI and sorting cards. For now, they are very focused on getting tournaments. They still seem to do some small UI changes every so often as well.
Don’t forget to drop this post off into the contest post so its not lost when the contest ends on the 17th.

The community tag is just #archdruid. It’s kept short so we can add things like a contest, or gaming divisions on the end of it if they want to use a tag as well as giving us other options. Without making it way too long.
