Game Spotlight: Robocraft

Game spotlight:

Game spotlight is a series of short blogs I will post regularly on my page, the idea is to cover all types of small and indie games across all platforms that I think are great fun to play and are not too expensive. I personally love playing games made by small studios and independent creators because they tend to be more unique, so you are often in for a lot of surprises.

Robocraft:

Robocraft is a third person vehicle combat game that is online based.

In Robocraft you build and design all types of different vehicles to battle against other people's vehicles. As you design and build each vehicle completely from scratch you never know what you will come across as you can build all types of vehicles from cars to helicopters.

Although you can create your own vehicles the game does offer some base vehicles;

Tank

Runner

Assault

There is a huge amount of customization in the game, from the shape of the vehicle down to the type of weapons you have so you never really know what you will come up against. Because of this you will have to create a vehicle that can withstand a lot and defend itself in more than one way.

It is also a lot of fun to create vehicles because there is so much you can add and so many different shapes and sizes to work with you can get quite creative and build whatever comes to mind.

I personally wouldn't say that Robocraft is a game that I would play every day or spend hours on end playing, however it is a lot of fun to jump into with a few friends and see who can create the best vehicle. It is also a lot of fun to jump into an occasional online game to test some different creations.
