Candy crush saga is a match-three game, where the score of the game played is based on swapping two adjacent candies among several one on the game board as to make a new row or column for at least 3 matching colored candies.

In the game players complete to move to the next level by swapping colored pieces of candy on a game board to make a match of three or more similar color, that leads to eliminating those candies from the board and automatically replacing them with new ones which will further create potentially new matches.

In addition creating matches of four or more candies or when four or more candies are matched it create unique candies that serve as power -ups with larger board clearing abilities.

The game has limited number of time and the board have various goals that must be completed within a fixed number of moves. The game can be played completely all through without spending money but players can buy special actions to help clear more difficult boards.

In candy crush saga, the two major characters that the player play against are the jelly queen and cupcake carl.

The game is split among many levels, which must be completed in sequence. Different challenge are faced at each level by users, such as achieving a minimum score in a fixed number of moves, to bring special ingredients to the bottom of the game board.

Whenever the player meets the level’s goal, they will be given stars ranging from one-three depending on their scores, moves and can proceed onto the next level. Otherwise a life will be lose and will have to play the level again. If the player runs out of life they will have to wait for some period of real-world time to regenerate the life before attempting the level again. A level completed can be replayed.

At the start of the game players begin with five lives and loss them whenever a level is failed. When exhausted users can either send requests to their Facebook friend for more live or wait for them to replenish themselves. Boosters to make the levels easier can be bought using in-app purchase.

The game becomes tougher and addicting as you progresses.
