Steam Summer Sale
Note... Steam, not Steem!
With the Steam summer sale 2 days from being over, a lot of you have gotten something, I'm sure.
As I'm getting into game development, I was going to get a couple games to study their mechanics as well as the way the developers are handling some stuff, such as the Dishonored franchise, Watch_Dogs and Train Valley, but I went for something to clear my head.
I've been playing Rocksmith 2014 since 2015, and it really helped me on my guitar skills, so I went on and got some DLC:
- Heart - Baracuda
- Judas Priest - Electric Eye (sadly they didn't include the intro "The Hellion")
- Queensryche - Eyes of a Stranger
- Iron Maiden Song Pack (includes: 2 Minutes to Midnight, Aces High, Fear of the Dark, Run to the Hills and Number of the Beast)
I was thinking to use some of my cryptocurrency to buy some more stuff, but since most of them are currently losing value it wouldn't be worth it. I'll surely grab the first Dishonored since it's only €2,49 and is on my wishlist.
How about you?
- Which games/dlc did you buy?
- Which ones where you planing to buy but you didn't?
- Did you buy anything using cryptocurrencies?
- Did you buy a game that you just found out it exists?
Feel free to upvote, resteem and comment with your purchases!
I'll leave you with this song:
I haven't bought anything yet. Steam sales don't seem as fun anymore without daily deals and flash sales
I agree.. The last year they did flash sales and daily deals I spent over $100. It was a fun way to find new games. Now they just throw all their sales on you with some "highlighted deals" which are mostly hit games and series (Far Cry, Metro, Bioshock, Tomb Raider).
