GAMELOFT V. THE WORLD Part 2
So in my last post, I gave a first half of my assessment of Gameloft against the world of other really good mobile game developers. I'll give the other half in this post and only hope it interests you.
FDG Entertainment:
These guys are newbies. Of course, if we're talking about topnotch 3D graphics games, these developers would not make top 30 (apologies guys😂), but they developed a game that is really really impressive. If you're a sniper games fan, looking for a challenging game with a great story line, Lonewolf is the place to look.
Lonewolf is a "barely" 3D sniper shooter game whose storyline is portrayed with really cool comics (I really wish I could meet their artist). There are a lot of sniper games out there, but none beats Lonewolf.
inDev Brain:
inDev Brain is not a really popular developing company either. But their games sure are popular. Dead effect is one, really really good game.
The graphics are amazing, the controls are amazing, the story is amazing. And even better, it's a zombies game. Trust me, zombies games rule. From Dead Trigger 1 & 2, to Unskilled and the like, zombie games have made their way to the top of the most wanted games list.
Dead effect is another really important zombie game, and inDev Brain is doing a great job in the industry too.
GAMELOFT:
Gameloft is the (probably) biggest mobile game developing company in the world today. Once, Gameloft ruled the JAVA phones world when it produced the Gangster series, produced the Splinter Cell series in concert with Ubisoft Games and started with the Asphalt Games. Every Java phone owner had a Gameloft game in his phone, and most still do. In evolving to Android, Gameloft evolved too by releasing nothing but the best android games with stunning graphics, action and story.
Some of their most renowned games include:
The Modern Combat Series:
Black Pegasus (2) was the dream of every child then. We had just evolved to the smartphone era and only a few kids could afford smartphones. The ones that could could not afford giant RAM sized phones to accommodate Gameloft games. Black Pegasus was the most famed of that time. I remember watching a neighbour play it once, and I almost fainted😂.
Gameloft got better though. They released MC3: Fallen Nation which was way better than the second MC version. They introduced voices to tell the story, the graphics were smoother, and a lot more new features were introduced.
Then Gameloft released MC4: Zero Hour. I consider it the best Gameloft game I've ever encountered. It took me two days to complete the game at it's most expert level, and it's action is not one to forget in a hurry. Big ups to Gameloft for that one.
Finally, MC5: Blackout was released. This game is probably the most popular game on smart platforms because of it's very unique features. Multiplayer was made to operate smoother, the game generally was online too. The action has a lot to write home about and the graphics is impressive.
Brothers in Arms 3:
Brothers in arms is like the name implies, my brother in arms😂😂.
The game takes us way back to the second world war, giving players an insight on the kinds of weapons used then, war zones and the story in the general.
The graphics is topnotch (but I think we've established that Gameloft never lacks in this zone😂). I won't write much on BIA3, you probably have heard more.
NOVA 3:
Unlike the "new" game NOVA: Legacy which is a total wack version and worth just 30mb (smh), NOVA 3 is literally the bomb. It has the best graphics on mobile game I have ever seen, with amazing storyline too. It also is very challenging and needs some degree of ingenuity to complete.
Sniper Fury:
Remember when I spoke on Lonewolf earlier and I said it's the best sniper game I eee played? I felt guilty sort of. Sniper Fury is another sniper game bomb, and comparing Lonewolf's tactics to Sniper Fury's would be a fair comparison.
The Asphalt Series:
We all know about the Asphalt series. The most prominent game is the Asphalt 8 which is probably the most popular racing game on Android. Of course there are arguments that EA Sport's Need For Speed series is good competition, but on cannot completely ignore the ingenuity behind the Asphalt idea. It's the racing game every gamer has or will play!
In conclusion, it is evident that Gameloft has done more than other companies in the mobile gaming area. Maybe my reasoning is flawed, if you think differently, do well to put me back on track with superior reasoning😀. Thanks for reading Steemians, thanks a million.
Cool analysis, @darkson, steem on!
Thanks a whole lot Sir @sorin.critescu. Can't believe I spent my entire day admiring your blog and here you are😂😂
Well, I have to thank @GINAbot :) "She" told me that you decided to "follow" me, so I said "let's have a look at what @darkson writes" :-)
Hehe.. @GINAbot must be a good "girl" then.
