Splinterlands | Mushroom Seer Challenge
To me, this is one of the cards that is well balanced with excellent abilities and reasonable attack and speed while it's vulnerable due to the 4 health for the 5 Mana cost. One of the game rules where it can come in handy is where all monsters get extra armor since this protects it while reducing the weapons of the opponent given the Silence ability and the Poison at level 5.
I don't use this card all too often as the Earth Splinter is the one I play the least. Just for this challenge, I took it on making a deck on the game rules where attacks can't miss. The Flesh Golem often is a good tank for this splinter even at level 5 for a common card (It is really expensive as getting it to the next level would easily cost 15$+), I used my Golden Furious Chicken in 2nd position to absorb damage without losing health regeneration on the Flesh Golem. The Khmer Princess for a 2 mana cost is excellent in low mana battles to provide extra tank heal. The Mushroom Seer with both Silence and Poison ability was semi-forced into the deck but certainly has a good purpose. The Earth Elemental is one of the best backline cards with self-heal.
The combination of having superior healing and the opponent playing a single sneak card that didn't do any damage whatsoever against my Earth Elemental made this turn into a near-flawless victory.

Important: Treat games in the first place as games and not as investment opportunities, Splinterlands allows you to earn some money and get good returns but you are much better off flipping burgers in Mcdonalds when looking at the money earned for the time invested. Investing also comes with a risk of card values going down.
