Amazing review. Love the wow lore analogy. Never got too deep into wow lore but i can say the Arthas story through stratholm up through ice crown citadel was riveting. I'd watch the movie no questions asked
Ya the Arthas story is so good.. probably why they made a full expansion around him later. There were a few other quest lines with Jania that I really liked too and the Dark Iron Dwarves. But again none of them really tied together with each other they were just fantastic adventures in and of their own right. Like I guess Molten Core could be seen as the be all end all of Vanilla WoW at release but really how often did you hear about it until you hit level 60? And even then, the Hydraxian Waterlords quests that sent you after Ragnaros were pretty weak. At least from what I remember but it has been a long long time.
