Why Shooter Games Fit Me Perfectly

I've always had a love for shooters, or FPS's as they are often called. Much of it has of course its explanation in the imprint games like Quake and Doom put in my youth years. They were awesome, fast and very brilliant to play with friends.

I remember when we installed Quake on school computers in high school, and would fire up LAN's more or less every available moment. You just had to be quick to flip the game off as soon as any relevant staff approached.

Hey there cutie-pie, time to taste my machine gun!

Then the time came when broadband became more common, and the days of 0.5-2.5 Mbit were like pure heaven. In addition to the fact that Quake 3 Arena might was my most played game online, you could also download a song in 15 minutes instead of the usual hour it used to take.

However, from 2008 and onwards, it has been almost exclusively Gears of War, the game series that meant most to me throughout all of time. Not a FPS game but rather seen out of a third perspective, but very true to the shooter genre. Few games delivered such a joyful online experience, and with thousands of game hours online it is forever imprinted in my DNA. I do not think the muscle memory will ever leave.

The good old days of severing locusts in half on the Xbox 360.

And on that road it is. The genre has been following me through life, all the way until today. Maybe I'm naive if I think it's going to slow down. I'm not even remotely tired of shooting both live and computer-controlled demons in pieces or to grind them into chainsaw poultry. As long as it's fun, I'll simply ignore how many times I have already done it.

As I am also a full time university student online matches fits me perfectly just for the fact that its a kind of "quick-in-quick-out" thing where i can play a match and then do something else. I don't always have time to delve deep into a gaming story or figure out complicated puzzles, sometimes i just want my quick fix of daily mayhem and then move on with my day.

Shooters are easy to understand, requires no tremendous history of playing time to get pretty good, and there is basically always someone to play against. In addition, they are usually brutally fun. That's why I play games like CS: GO, Gears of War and Doom still to this day.

I feel first person shooters are missing the recoil the fast speed the labrynth and the secrets that old school shooters have you should join steemspeak

Shooter games of which I have very entertaining is overwatch, rainbow six and the division with the new update. Doom I liked the campaign mode because the multiplayer is awful.

The division is awesome, love pillaging and ravaging around in the safe zone!

If it is true, it hurts that it is a game that presents many bug, in the new update 1.7 I have a horrible bug explain that happens when starting the games all my USB devices stop working: keyboard, mouse, headset, etc. I hope Bugisoft solves that problem.
