RuneScape weekly update - New quest, quest improvements, and interface updates Feb 11, 2019

in #gaming6 years ago

This week's update involves a sequel to the first ever quest, changes to the quest log, and more mobile friendly UI changes.

For those of you who remember completing the Cook's Assistant 18 years ago and have been sitting on the edge of your seat in anticipation of the sequel, have I got good news for you! The Chef's Assistant has just been released and involves making a brand new mid-level food, Cheesecake! Make you way over to the head chef in the cooking guild to get started.

Some updates are flashy, and others are more behind the scenes. The changes to the quest system are more of the latter. You can now sort quests by a variety of new methods including difficuly, length, ages, and series just to name a few.

The ports interface has received a tweaking to make it more mobile friendly, and several other UIs have been adjusted as well. While you will notice slight changes, they are substantially the same which is handy as who really wants to relearn an entirely layout.

The last big change for the week comes from the patch notes where it was announced that the gem rocks in Prifddinas have had their hitpoints reduced from 10,000 to 1,150. Time to try your luck mining Onyx before they change the drop rates!
