Candy Box 2 - Incremental Idle Game with a Twist
You wouldn't think there would be a whole lot to a game like this, and at first, it appears that it would be a rather boring thing to do. The initial screen looks something like the screen below, but of course with lower numbers.
You gain one candy a second. These are standard incremental game mechanics, but after a little bit, you can "request features". This enables an actual RPG type game made purely from ASCII. The beginning town is shown below.
You can complete a quest, and then gain a map from it. The entire map is rather large compared to what I was expecting.
No RPG would be complete without battling either
This is an interesting take on this type of game. Many of the games you can get as apps on tablets, and the cookie clicker type games, are not as interactive as this. Easter eggs add to the adventure also.
