"Comix Zone" is a platform game where the player can control Sketch Turner in a cartoon, where we will have to advance through different levels, overcoming obstacles, enemies and at the same time solving several puzzles. We will play with a role of hero, the player counts on skills such as: hitting, kicking, jumping and also collecting items and using them along each level.

The player has an easy gameplay and completely understandable, along the way we will find different "vignettes" that make up two pages of a cartoon (like the style of a magazine) which made it very particular and very different from the other game of his time. We will have a reading and a full explanation of the comic.

We will have the skill to introduce ourselves to the "cartoon" that we want from the comic, each level has 2 pages, we can store up to three articles in our inventory, to restore our health we will have to collect "iced tea" and also have a fist that transforms quickly to Sketch in super hero and will provide us with a powerful attack against any enemy.

To get hidden objects, we will have the help of (Roadkill the rat) since she can access areas where Sketch can not or will be far from its reach, we will have a movement that allows us to start the background and throw the enemies in a Paper plane. We will always be solving puzzles and defeating enemies at the same time.

In the screen will appear arrows pointing to different areas with multiple routes (which makes it a little easier to play for the inexperienced) the health of the player will be fully calculated by a health meter, which will wear away as we go receiving damage of the enemy or any obstacle that is put in front of us.

If we lose all the life they give us, the protagonist Sketch will fall into a bottomless pit, Note: we will have to take care that by losing, Mortus will take his place in the real world and finish the game! but Sketch has a card up his sleeve; since we can delete the first two chapters of the game and thus allow us to resume the game (in case it dies)

The game has different endings like: (Alissa to be saved, leaves the comic and becomes the head of security of the USA or Sketch escapes comic but does not save Alissa and she dies, and the Comix Zone cartoon is destroyed ) If you complete the game three times at a time without using a continue, Mortus will appear and say "You will be mine" everything depending on the actions we take during the course of the game.
