Assassin's Creed Odyssey my opinion

I've never liked the games from the Assassin Creed series, they were not in my taste (except for Black Falg, which was one of the best pirate-sea games).
I love RPG games and with a clear conscience I can assure you that Odyssey is one of the best RPGs I have played recently.

The game is great. Monumental open world, you can wander and wander here and there, discovering this and that and doing various quests for hundreds of hours without even touching the plot. And the storyline in itself is really strong in this game and can squeeze well into the armchair.
The formula is simple. As one of the many mercenaries who appeared at that time, we are thrown into the world of ancient Greece during the Peloponnese War. And "do what you want". We can actively help one or the other of the warring parties, take care of our own affairs, admire breathtaking views or whatever we want. Whatever we do, we are just a tiny cog and the war is going on around us whether we want it or not. Even if we do not take an active part in the war, the war continues, individual Polis are conquered by one side or the other.

Apart from having fun, the game also has a great educational value. During the adventures we get to know dozens of characters known from history and we visit hundreds (literally) of historical places, about which we can get additional interesting information in a special "historical" map mode.

I can recommend the game with a clear conscience to every RPG fan as well as people interested in the geography and history of ancient Greece in the 5th century BC.
