Round One Stadium Osaka: The Best Arcade In Japan

On every trip to Japan I've been on, I always block out a few hours to go to Round One Stadium. Round1 is a fun center chain throughout Japan and the Stadium version has the most activities.

ROUND1 Is The Best Arcade in Japan

ROUND1 Stadium (ラウンドワンスタジアム ) and ROUND1

It's an easy statement to make, because ROUND1 is an arcade chain located throughout Japan. There are two versions, #1 is ROUND1 Stadium and #2 is ROUND1. You're going to want to visit the one that is also a "Stadium" for all the really fun physical based games and activities.

A regular ROUND1 arcade will be crane games, casino games (for fun, not actual gambling) such as pachinko, slot machines. You'll also see the most up to date arcade games alongside the classics and fan favorites.

ROUND1 Stadium has everything the a ROUND1 arcade has, but includes bowling, batting cages, karaoke rooms, manga lounge, basketball courts, tennis courts, ping pong, boxing, bull riding, mini golf, darts and more! If you want play every type of game just once, you'll be there for a few hours.

Pictures and video from this post are from the ROUND1 Stadium in Osaka. While I was in Okinawa, I visited the ROUND1 Stadium in Naha and it was very similar because it was just as much fun.

ROUND One Prices

Pricing at a standard ROUND1 typically is "per game". At ROUND1 Stadium, you can book hourly. I booked the packaged rate of 2030JPY for 3 hours. There was a little of a language barrier, but from my understanding you tell them what package you want, they hand you a bracelet that tracks how long you've been there and if you want to charge anything to it and then you pay when you leave. When you leave, you pay for how long you stayed depending on the pricing tiers.

ROUND One Karaoke and Bowling

There is an additional cost if you are going to use the Karaoke and Bowling facilities. Additionally, you'll have to book it as soon as you get there since they schedule out the rooms.
