LOL, indeed. But isn't that exactly what Valve tried to do. Create demand where there was none and draw developers away from windows. I understand Gabe doesn't like windows very much.
But valve has such a great studio to build some of the best titles ever made, like portal one and 2, half life... Plus managing to build an awesome pc game marketplace. Consoles are generally break even at best, the real money is in games and services.
