Valentine's Day 2021 Collection Challenge - Munna and Musharna added to the game

The yearly Valentine's Day celebration event has returned a few days ago as mentioned in the previous post, and is currently still going on. Certain Pokémon are currently spawning more often in the wild such as Nidoran♀, Nidoran♂, Plusle, Minun, Volbeat, Illumise, Luvdisc and the recently released Munna. Pokémon like Chansey and Feebas are also spawning more than usual, but still rarer than the other event spawns.

With this event I have finally encountered my first Shiny Chansey while walking around earlier this week. As per usual the stats are quite terrible xD You can see that in this screenshot.

Munna and Musharna have been added to the game as part of this year's event. Evolving Munna to Musharna requires 50 Munna Candy and an Unova Stone. So far I've caught several Munna already but haven't evolved one yet. I'll look into that after the event is over and I've traded some Munna.

The Heart Shaped Spinda, which has #9 in Spinda's Pokédex entry, has once again returned. Any event Task that requires to make 5 Great Curveball throws in a row will reward with this Spinda encounter. Try to complete the Field Research task before the event is over though, as there is a chance it'll reward that month's Spinda pattern instead of the Heart Shaped one when the event is over.

Since the region celebration events leading up the Pokémon GO Tour: Kanto, we have seen Collection Challenges added to the game. So far we've had Unova, Sinnoh, Hoenn and Johto Collection Challenges. These will be happening with multiple events going forward for sure, though will likely not be part of each event as the Lunar New Year didn't have one. Collection Challenges require you to Catch all of the Pokémon for it in order to complete the challenge. Here is an overview of the Valentine's Day 2021 Collection Challenge.

How to complete the Valentine's Day 2021 Collection Challenge:
Nidoran♀, Nidoran♂, Plusle, Minun, Volbeat, Illumise and Luvdisc can all be captured in the wild. Volbeat and Illumise are regional Pokémon, but spawning globally with this event. Additionally Volbeat and Illumise can also be obtained from the event Field Research "Send 3 Gifts to friends".
Alomomola can be found in 3-star Raids, but is also obtainable from the event Field Research tasks "Catch 20 Luvdisc" and "Win 2 Raids". With this event Shiny Alomomola has been added to the game, so if you're lucky you could encounter it Shiny.
Espeon and Umbreon can be found in 3-star Raids, this is the only way to catch them during this event and for the challenge.
Latias and Latios are found in 5-star Raids and this is the only way to catch them for the challenge.
During the event you can claim a free box in the shop containing 3 Remote Raid Passes which can be used to get some of the Raid-only Pokémon to complete the Collection Challenge.
Completing it rewards you with 3 Silver Pinap Berries, 3 Rocket Radars and 2 Charged TMs.

Once completed, a medal will pop-up to congratulate you, and show the number of Collection Challenges you've completed in the middle of it.

Hopefully this helps people struggling to complete the Collection Challenge.

How is your Valentine's Day event going so far? Did you encounter any good Pokémon and possibly some Shinies?
